Factors Affecting the Intention of Vaccination in Parents with Noncompliance of Vaccination

Abstract
Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate factors affecting the intention of vaccination in parents with noncompliance of vaccination.

Methods: The participants of this study were 296 parents with noncompliance of vaccination. Data were collected by self-report questionnaires consisted of questions about parents¡¯ characteristics, intention of vaccination, attitude toward vaccination, perceived benefit of vaccination and perceived barriers to vaccination.

Results: Factors affecting the intention of vaccination were perceived benefit of vaccination, attitude toward vaccination and mothers¡¯ education level.

Conclusion: The intention of vaccination in parents with noncompliance of vaccination was decreased by decreased perceived barriers of vaccination in due consideration of negative attitude toward vaccination and mothers" high education level.
